Opened in 1852, Yarm Viaduct contains over 7.5 million red bricks and carries trains at approximately 65 feet above Yarm High Street and across the River Tees. Closer to earth, a road bridge has crossed the River Tees into Yarm since the 1400's and has undergone many changes improvements over the years. You can bring some historic Yarm charm to the washing up with this River Tees tea towel featuring the original illustration 'Yarm Bridge and Viaduct' by Tom Mankin. This Teesside tea towel has been manufactured using 100% organic cotton and has been heat set to lock in colour, ensuring minimum fading over time.
